My Resume
Here is a detailed breakdown of my professional journey and volunteering experiences!

January 2026 - May 2026
Production Intern
Makelab
Brooklyn, New York
During my senior year at Cooper Union, I pursued this internship to gain hands-on experience with industrial-scale additive manufacturing. I was eager to learn how advanced 3D printing technologies are applied in a commercial environment and to better understand the processes involved in producing high-quality end-use parts.
Processed FDM/SLA 3D printed parts using hand tools, power tools, and sanding techniques while performing quality inspections
Troubleshooted print and machine issues to identify root causes and maintain consistent production performance
Collaborated with production and service teams to meet tight client deadlines

September 2023 - December 2025
Senior Operator
The Cooper Union Makerspace
Manhattan, New York
During my sophomore year at Cooper Union, I joined the Makerspace as a student technician. What began as a campus job quickly became one of the most influential experiences of my undergraduate career. Working in the Makerspace introduced me to the world of prototyping, digital fabrication, and hands-on product development.
I continued working in the Makerspace through the fall semester of my senior year. By that point, the experience had given me a strong foundation in fabrication and prototyping, and I chose to spend my final semester exploring new opportunities and broadening my engineering experience.
-
Designed and delivered workshops twice a semester to educate students on the applications of 3D printing, and laser cutting
-
Trained new staff, lead team meetings, and improved communication workflows to support daily makerspace operations
-
Assisted 200+ students with CAD, 3D printing, laser cutting, prototype development while ensuring safe equipment use

May 2025 - July 2025
Undergraduate Researcher
The University of Burgos
Burgos, Spain
After my junior year at Cooper Union, I wanted to gain experience in research, as I have always enjoyed designing experiments, analyzing results, and investigating how engineering principles translate into real-world performance. Through Cooper Union's study abroad program, I was partnered with Professor Jesús Manuel Alegre at the University of Burgos, where I had the opportunity to combine my interests in additive manufacturing, materials engineering, and mechanical testing.
My research focused on understanding how internal defects influence the mechanical performance and fatigue life of additively manufactured components. Through both experimental testing and computational analysis, I gained valuable experience in the complete research process—from specimen preparation and testing to data analysis and technical reporting.

Prepared SLS-printed specimens using the Formlabs FUSE 1
Performed tensile tests and fractographic analysis with Leica S9i microscopy to evaluate defect behavior
Conducted fatigue life simulations with FFA Crack software, generating and analyzing S-N curves to evaluate the effects of internal defect size, shape, and location on fatigue behavior
Interpreted experimental and simulation data to identify trends in mechanical behavior and support research conclusions.
Developed technical communication skills through documentation, analysis, and presentation of research findings.

February 2024 (1 Day)
Booth Volunteer
Kids Week at the Intrepid Museum (with ASCE)
Manhattan, New York
My interest in engineering began long before college. As a child, I loved hands-on building activities—constructing bridges from popsicle sticks and spaghetti, designing houses from gingerbread and LEGO bricks, and constantly looking for new ways to create and experiment. Those experiences sparked my curiosity about how things work and ultimately led me to pursue engineering.
When I learned about this outreach event through my involvement with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), I immediately volunteered. I have always enjoyed working with children and believe there is something special about their curiosity and eagerness to learn. They approach new ideas with creativity and enthusiasm, and I wanted to help foster that same excitement for engineering that inspired me at a young age.
Guided children in building earthquake-resistant structures using spaghetti and marshmallows while introducing basic structural engineering concepts in an engaging and accessible way.
Encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking through hands-on design challenges.
Helped young students understand how engineers use experimentation, testing, and iteration to develop stronger and more resilient structures.
Created a welcoming and interactive learning environment that promoted curiosity and exploration.

January 2023 - August 2023
Project Engineer Intern
Forte Construction
Brooklyn, New York
After my sophomore year at Cooper Union, I wanted to gain firsthand exposure to the civil engineering and construction industry, particularly the project management side. Having recently completed coursework focused on the fundamentals of project planning and execution, I was eager to see how those concepts were applied in practice. At Forte Construction, I had the opportunity to contribute to active projects while learning about the coordination, communication, and problem-solving required to bring complex construction projects to completion.

Reviewed construction submittals, shop drawings, and product data to verify compliance with project requirements
Performed quality control reviews of MTA elevator shop drawings using Bluebeam, identifying discrepancies
Participated in subcontractor and progress meetings, tracking project milestones, resolving outstanding issues, and supporting timely project execution
Conducted site visits to observe construction progress, field operations, and implementation of project plans, gaining exposure to construction management and quality assurance practices

June 2023 - July 2023
Windsurf Instructor
4 Sports Surf Center
Palaia Fokia, Greece
After my freshman year at Cooper Union, I spent time in Greece for family commitments and found the exciting opportunity to assist at a local windsurfing school. Combining my passion for water sports with teaching and teamwork, I helped support instructors and students both on and off the water.
Assisted with windsurfing lessons by providing on-water guidance and coaching support to students of varying skill levels.
Helped set up, maintain, and organize equipment to ensure lessons ran smoothly and efficiently.
Supported safety procedures and monitored students during lessons to promote a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Developed strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills while working in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

July 2020 - January 2021
Basketball Coach
Steady Buckets
Manhattan, New York
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I participated in virtual training sessions with Steady Buckets to continue developing my basketball skills. As I progressed, I was invited to help coach younger players through online sessions. Despite the challenges of remote instruction, I adapted by creating practice spaces in my basement, backyard, and even my bedroom to demonstrate drills and techniques.
Collaborated with fellow youth leaders to teach basketball fundamentals to beginner players in a virtual environment.
Led training sessions and facilitated workouts when the head coach was unavailable.
Mentored and encouraged young female athletes, helping them build confidence, skills, and a passion for the game.
Developed leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while adapting coaching methods to the constraints of remote learning.
